Bill Brandt is past president of the Organic Garden Club of Ventura County and past president of California Rare Fruit Growers, Los Angeles Chapter. In January, 2021, he gave a Pruning Workshop at  Las Flores Community Garden Orchard, showing how to prune various fruit trees: stone fruits, citrus, avocado, cherimoya, and fig.
