Andy Lopez – The Invisible Gardener, “Don’t Panic, It’s Organic”

At our Organic Garden Club meeting, Andy Lopez told us about soil biology and why it is important in healing your plants and growing abundant organic veggies and fruits. He has over fifty years of magic in the garden, finding wholistic connections to attain maximum growth, working with Mother Nature for a better environment.

Soil biology IS the invisible gardener. We need to fed the soil. It controls diseases and pests which start in the soil. Biology feeds us! The soil needs minerals. We’re supposed to get the minerals we need from what we eat. We need 96 different minerals, including gold, lead, etc. We are cosmic beings and are grounded when we get all the trace minerals. Trace mineral deficiencies cause trees to get sick. Bark beetles attach sick trees. If a plant is weak, it produces simple carbohydrates. Healthy plants product complex carbohydrates. Rock dust is a good additive. If you have healthy soil, it goes a long way in preventing pests and diseases. For example, rolly poles or pill bugs eat organic matter. If the soil doesn’t have enough, they’ll eat your plants.

Water is also very important in growing a healthy garden. Boogie Brew Water Filters can be attached to your hose easily and are inexpensive.  It features a 100% Activated Carbon block filter membrane  and a copper-zinc filtration material. City water is not good for plants and soil and contains chlorine, heavy metals, and other chemicals. Sign up for Andy Lopez’s informative newsletter: https://www.invisiblegardener.com/inquiry
