If everyone in the world planted an edible garden where they live, we would save the planet and our own lives! All life is connected! Plants are alive, they breathe out oxygen and organic gardeners breathe the clean air. The air is alive with bees and beneficial insects attracted by flowering native plants planted among the veggies. Instead of growing lawns, we can plant native plants, perennial veggies, berry bushes, and fruit trees in our yards!
Growing our own organic food at home is the answer to health and happiness! Food is medicine. Eating fresh, local, seasonal, organic fruits and veggies saves time and money at the doctors office and on prescriptions. It’s time to give up processed foods which are filled with too much salt, sugar, fat, chemicals, and additives and have made so many of us sick. Eating food that grows where we live also helps with our allergies and immunities. Choose organic and avoid the herbicides, pesticides, and GMO’s of conventional farming that has poisoned our water, soil, and people. We can grow organic food in pots, planters, and raised bed gardens, and feel alive everyday in the garden!
