
We kicked off EARTH MONTH with Alan Tratner, who helped establish the First Earth Day. Professor Alan Tratner organized the Los Angeles and Santa Barbara events on April 22, 1970 to start the Earth Day Movement. He then participated and contributed to the First International United Nations Conference on the Human Environment, in Stockholm, Sweden in 1972.
He founded Green 2 Gold for sustainable economic development and has helped over 100,000 members find responsible environmental solutions. He created and developed numerous Green and Sustainability Projects, conducting over 5,000 workshops and seminars around the globe.
Professor Alan created and managed the U.S. SBA’s Santa Barbara County Small Business Development Center and has appeared on, and been featured in most of the leading media of our times. He is the Co-Author of ENERGY, EARTH & EVERYONE book, with Forward by Futurist Inventor Buckminster Fuller. Green2Gold has also created a California Climate Resources Guide.
