Organic AZ Ranch and Nursery

Organic Garden Club members learned so much at AZ-Ranch organic farm in Agoura, California from farmer Alex Zadeh and his folks.

We tasted organic malabar spinach, leek greens, various mint and basil varieties, Meyer lemon water, and blackberries.

For several years, Alex has organically raised ducks and used their manure to make his unique soil and compost blends. They propagate many unique fruit trees, herbs, and veggies in their Nursery, gathering local organic seeds and cuttings from their organic regenerative Farmers Market colleagues and friends and sharing the bounty with the community.

We viewed the lush greenhouse, multiple varieties of figs and pomegranates, shiraz grapes, Mom’s veggie and herb garden, and many unique baby fruit trees. Then we bought organic fruits, honey, and veggies in the AZ-Ranch Farm Shop.

Alex and local Organic Regenerative Farmers are working together to transform the soil to grow our food which can transform human health. All beings are interconnected in ecosystems. When we tend our organic veggie garden, we find that our health and wellbeing is 100% interconnected with Nature’s health and wellbeing.

Five minute away, Club members had a delightful lunch at Blue Table in the Wizzin’s Mall, sharing pictures and stories of our summer gardens!
